Why start this challenge?
I think it’s super important to be grateful for something every day but I tried to do a daily one and it didn’t work well. If I do it weekly, maybe it’s more realistic for me. This way I can keep recognizing what I’m grateful for without stressing every day about posting something. Join me in your blog if you’d like!!
The person behind the “person”. They are unique in their own way, kind to everyone they meet and they want to make an impression on each of those people. A beautiful person creates sunshine in your life even on the darkest day. They can see something good in everyone. They accept people’s differences and embrace them. Their beauty goes deeper than their outside physical appearance. They are them and you love them for that.
I freakin love my dog. That is all. ❤️
Never look down on anyone unless you are helping them up.
Make peace with your broken pieces.
Fall in love with someone who will never let you go to sleep wondering if you still matter.
Still, I rise.
Be a rainbow in someone else’s cloud.
I admire people who choose to shine even after all of the storms they’ve lived through.
They broke my wings and forgot I had claws.
Never take things for granted. Tell people how much they mean to you. Hold on to those people that are true to you. Know that things can change in an instant. It only takes one decision to do so. Learn something new every day and apply it to your life somehow. Allow your children to grow and teach them how to be good people. You never know what tomorrow or next week or next month or even next year will bring..
As you know, my birthday was yesterday. I went to work which was actually a weeklong training at a hotel ballroom. Today was our last day and the morning seemed pretty easygoing. We all took lunch and I had a spinach and feta pie piece and a chicken gyro (yum).
We came from lunch and do you know what we did? 112 of us packaged 15,000 pounds of food for the hungry. In an hour and a half!! What an awesome way to spend part of my birthday. What did YOU do yesterday?
So today’s my birthday. I’m more excited about it than I was my last and it’s not even a big one (31).
No plans except to buy myself lunch and get my car inspected this weekend. The joys of adulting
